Leadership Certifications – Divemaster

This course is for you if you love scuba diving and Would like to lead dives and dive trips and take certified divers on vacations to the world’s best dive sites.
This program is designed to train experienced and knowledgeable divers to organize and conduct enjoyable open water dives for certified divers.
What goes on during divemaster training?
During your Divemaster training you will do exercises that will improve your ability to solve problems and help others to learn to dive, you will improve your own diving skills and increase your self-confidence. When you are a Divemaster, you will use the acquired skills to guide, coach, and stimulate other divers. You will be particularly fond of seeing them fall in love with the wonderful underwater world.
- Minimum age is 18 years by the water phase of the course.
- Certified as a Rescue Diver
- A minimum of 60 logged open water scuba dives with a minimum of 30 hours bottom time. Dives shall be varied in environment, depth, and activities. (40 dives at the beginning of the course and 60 by the time of certification)
- Medical Approval – Verification of good physical condition as documented by a medical examination and unconditional approval for diving by a licensed physician within the preceding 12 months.
